DA-15S, also known as DB15S or DE15S, is a 15-pin female connector used for audio and video connectivity. It is commonly found in VGA (Video Graphics Array) connections for computer monitors and projectors. The DA-15S connector can transmit analog signals for video resolutions up to 1024×768 pixels and can also be used for serial and parallel data communication. This type of connector is gradually being replaced by the more compact HDMI and DisplayPort connectors for modern devices.
